In 2019 the Canadian Institute of Planners turns 100! To celebrate 100 years of planning in Canada, we want to gather a list of informative and engaging books about planning and urban issues for Canadians of all ages. Contribute to this book list by sharing your favourite fiction or non-fiction planning books that you can’t wait to tell everyone about!

We hope that this 100 for 100 book list will be a lasting resource to be used to engage planners, educators, and especially youth in our communities about how planning is infused into our everyday life, our imaginations and future dreams.

The CIP Sponsorship Fund was established to help support post-secondary planning student conferences and events that encourage educational opportunities beyond the classroom.

The primary intent of the CIP Sponsorship Fund (up to $1000) is to support current and aspiring planning students; the fund must also complement CIP’s values and strategic objectives.

The fund may be used to sponsor an event (conference, workshop) or project (research, planning education, publication).

This fund will generally be used to sponsor an accredited Canadian university planning program, or planning student group; however, there may be circumstances that require consideration.

For more information and instructions, Interest Student members should review the CIP Student Sponsorship Fund Policies and Procedures manual for qualifications and apply below by November 16th, 2018, 4:00 pm EDT.
